Aftercare

Make them last

Retention is about half technique and half aftercare. Follow these and you’ll get noticeably more life out of every set.

Lash extensions

The six rules

Keep them dry for 24 hours

Avoid water, steam, saunas and heavy sweating while the adhesive fully cures.

Cleanse gently, but do cleanse

A lash-safe foaming cleanser and a soft brush daily. Dirty lashes shed faster — clean lashes last.

Avoid oil

Oil breaks down adhesive. Check your cleanser, moisturiser, sunscreen and makeup remover.

No lash curlers or waterproof mascara

Extensions already have the perfect curl, and waterproof mascara is near impossible to remove safely.

Be mindful sleeping

Sleep on your back where you can, or use a silk pillowcase. Side-sleepers see one side thin out first.

Book regular fills

Every two to three weeks keeps a set looking full — and costs less than starting again.

Brows

After a lamination

Dry for 24 hours

No water, steam or sweat on the brows while the new shape sets.

Brush them daily

Upward and outward each morning to keep the shape sitting the way it was set.

Nourish the hair

A little brow oil or serum at night keeps laminated hairs conditioned.

Space your treatments

At least six weeks between laminations so the hair stays healthy.
